AR Installation | T-Mobile

Cologne carnival is well-known for its imaginative costumes, non-stop fun and all-round wackiness, so when German ad agency FSW asked us to create a Pepsi installation in T-Mobile’s flagship store, we knew it was an outstanding opportunity for some creative inventiveness.   

After creating four new characters in line with the flavour of Cologne carnival, we installed photo booth technology to enable carnival-goers to take pictures which would automatically be uploaded to a special microsite for the campaign. 

The photo countdown was triggered by three nods of the head – a gesture which, it turns out, is done quite differently by German people compared to their British counterparts, meaning that we had to calibrate the nodding to accommodate that!
